The Early Days Otis A. Windsor and employees assembling Hubbell wiring devices. Circa late 1930's/early 1940's.
Otis A.Windsor
was a businessman, engineer, inventor, and holder of several U.S. patents.
In the late 1930's, Otis' old friend Harvey Hubbell needed a rugged outlet box to house his wiring devices for use in California's growing aircraft manufacturing industry, and soon after, OA Windsor Company was born....
With Harvey Hubbell's inspiration, Otis designed, patented, and began manufacturing a variety of portable, versatile, durable, heavy duty rubber outlet boxes.
